If you guys decide to pass on him, take his pic and post it up. There is nothing better than letting one walk and going after another. Cell phone, point and shoot, or whatever you have.

I like the sound of that!

You want a picture of a spike? Because that's all I will be passing up. And that's only because I want a buck with more meat on him.

:chuckle: good one.
I'll take pictures of anything my Dad passes up. Although I don't think it will be a legal deer
-
That's all fine. I have lots of two point and spike pics.
-
Ill take some pics if the gf passes any this weekend. She is usually pretty picky... :chuckle:
-
When I look at that pic in the first post, I can't help but think that deer is saying "Excuse me, do you have a moment to talk about Jesus?"
I'd greet that deer the same way I greet people knocking on my door asking the same question, but with less hesitation on pulling the trigger.

2013 buck?

I'm usually not very picky so it might have to be a picture of all the ones I have to pass on while dragging mine out hopefully
-

Well, was it the right choice? If that was the right choice I want to see more pics. Great deer.

:chuckle: sounds like a good plan.

Should be some cameras out as we speak...
-
its hard to try and take pics. :chuckle: the gf decided she didn't want to be so picky this year so she wont be passing many.
had a good morning hunt and almost got a shot, but had to call it quits early to go to a wedding. well be back after it this afternoon.

Here are some bucks we passed during muzzy season.

Thats a pretty nice buck you passed on. The one with the 2pt. ITS WAAAAY bigger than anything Ive ever killed.
-
I didnt say it was a good decision. I was looking for the big one I had scouted earlier.
-
These are archery season pictures of a buck that I passed on September 22d. I was looking for something just a little bit bigger and I found the right one about four hours later
I am no elitist and the buck I killed wasn't huge by any means but it sure is empowering to pass on a shooter buck. This was the first buck I've ever passed on other than yearling bucks.
Good topic Doug.
