I just ran into a guy up on the Souxion today while trying to fill my deer tag and he said that the Vail was a hunters paradise. It sounds a little to good to be true so really, how good is the hunting up there? :o

I would say that your assumption is correct. It seemed as though we couldn't get away from other hunters even with the limited number of permits. Definately not a hunters paradise in that regard. Although there are a few deer around.

Great buck

Way to go, everyone should be excited.

I think seen that same buck in pre season 3 times in velvet. I wont give out the road. Yeah we seen so many rigs up there. But alot drove around till noon then left. i was at the 150 gate at noon driving my wifes deer out and there were 12 rigs leaving. :dunno:
