yeah, I know. You gotta love a mother-in-law who will buy you hunting gear for Christmas. ;) any suggestions on either a spotting scope or rifle scope. I currently have a leupold 4X rifle scope. It still works good after 20 years of careful use. I would like a spotting scope that can adapt to a canon XTI. What do you all think?

Sweet!
Mine Inlaws just told us this week that they are only buying for the grandkids due to some high medical bills this year. Guess I will be buying my "Own" hunting stuff with the money we would have spent on them :)

great! What's your M-I-L's email address again? I'd like to send in my address with my Christmas wishlist too. ;)
But if you want to take picture through a scope, I think a spotter is a better choice.

You can buy a digital camera adapter that is universal at Cabela's for $40. I would suggest a highend spotter for digi-scoping.
