My 11 year old son got drawn for a Peaches Ridge bull tag. I know the Manashtash area very well but not too familiar with the Taneum or Little Naches units. Anyone got some advice for us. We are heading over to the taneum this Saturday and plan to hunt it the first week, if we are not seeing much we may head down to the Little Naches. Anyone got some areas for us to check out? Or anyone interested in helping us out, I would trade you a couple of Steelhead trips in Wenatchee or at Pateros or walleye fishing trips next spring.
Thanks

We have been up about a half dozen times, but you are right it is never enough.

Not to be rude but you will find much better information burning boot leather in the woods then on the internet... Good luck. Another tip is use the search feature....

I will gladly help out with info or packing or showing you some spots in the Little Naches...
I will be there this fri, sat and sunday. Then next thursday for 11 days...
Just get ahold of me....

To bad you didn't ask earlier when the tags came out. You would be up to speed right now. Your cutting it close. Best of luck.

That is a big area that tag covers. If you went up and burned a bunch of boot leather, your time up there can probably give you the lay of a single drainage - hopefully you concentrated on one that has elk. For your kid's sake, I really hope you can get onto something. The way the points creep is working, he may have his own 11 year old before he gets another shot at this hunt.
