Hey guys.do you guys know if its legal to use ELECTRONIC CALL for elk in Washington during modern rifle season? thanks
-
I swear i think people put these questions up just to get an argument going. Here, go get a big game pamphlet, they are usually right where you bought your tag, and read it.(elk is not on that list of game you cannot hunt with electronic calls)If you need more info call the WDFW office and ask a warden not the office personell

I wouldn't ask a warden. They'll just tell you what they think is the right answer, then you get stopped by a different officer and he'll right u a ticket.

There's no law against it. However it is illegal to use an electronic call for DEER. Weird, huh?

And turkey as far as I know(remember).

Waterfowl,wild turkey, or deer. Illegal

As convoluted as WA game laws are, it never hurts to ask.

Wait, last night i was told by a few on this forum that the laws on hunting are simple. :chuckle:
-
So simple that during modern firearms deer/elk season I have to have a modern firearm deer/elk tag to shoot a grouse with a pistol that isn't legal for hunting deer or elk :bash:
