Anyone have experience/opinion on hunting the land near Mason Lake? Particularly the clearcuts I have seen on the North/Northeast side and off of Trails End Road. I have searched the archives on here but haven't found anything particularly helpful.
I have been out that way during the summer quite a bit lately but never for hunting.
I believe a majority of the timber land I've been seeing is Green Diamond's land and is ok for walk-in unless otherwise posted. Please correct me if I am wrong.

Some of that is Manke also but there are some areas you can get into. I've never hunted it but I have a friend who lives out there and is always worried about hitting deer on the road. Couldn't hurt to look and I wish I could be more help. Good luck.
