Growing up I can always remember getting soaked while hunting Blacktails...what's up with the summer weather in October?
-
I've never had a full season of no rain. This is odd. I better learn to adapt quick because the season is moving fast with no rain in sight.

Yeah, looks like fog again this morning :bash: but I can't hear any ships fog whistles going on out on the Sound. Oh well gonne head out anyway.
One thing I really hate about the fog is when I'm trying to focus binoculars! :bdid: :chuckle:

I couldn't see 10ft in front of me in town and I get in the woods and its clear....but when the moon is so bright I can see my shadow at night that's not good either :bash:

Hopefully with the rut fully underway in a few days this weather won't have too much of an impact. Almost every afternoon I'm just thankful I got lightweight merino pants this year!
-
one good thing about no rain is you know where the deer are because of the dust cloud. bad thing is you cant see them . lol, mike w

If you wait for about another month it will rain for the next 5 months!!

Komo news had a NOAA guy on today on the radio and he said they are forecasting no rain until the 2nd week of November. He said we'd eventually move out of the fog but no rain.
-
I'd be OK without the fog....I've been screwed 4 days now till 10am or later with fog
-
forecast is showing 80% chance on the 31st (Halloween).

This dry spell has really screwed up my plans for fishing as well. The local rivers are almost as low as they were back in July.
