I just recently bought a Fred bear compound from a biddy of mine as a way to break back into archery, I needed help with my draw length, and needed to get a new draw module to fit my bow.
Went to sportsmans totally ready to drop 20-30$ on one as that's what I've seen them for online.
Sportsmans measured my draw, found me a new module, and sent me out the door for 0$ outts pocket! Not what I expected as I didnt buy the bow there
Needless to say I'll be going back this weekend for new arrows, a new target and other "must haves".

Love hearing stories like this...maybe customer service is still alive.

Pretty good group in that store.

One of my favorite stores.

after the last change from wholesale back to sportsmans I think the store has come a long way. It seems like there is knowlegeable folks in all the departments ive dealt with, has been a good experience every time ive been there, just was a great experience today!
my only gripe with them is the lack of big and tall clothing, but that is everywhere, not just at sportsmans!

I agree with you since the change I have visited them a lot more as opposed to ranch and home. Like you I wish they did have a larger selection of the big and tall hunting clothes. How is shooting coming along for you? Have u ever shot the course out behind knights of colombus

I haven't been back since the last change. I didn't know it had changed back. That's good to know

I actually prefer sportsmans over the Yakima cabelas.
I haven't shot much bow guy, I went to that course with my dad about 20 years ago, if I understand it right, the front part is open to the public.
I'm going to get the sight adjusted in the morning, if I get it dialed in I may go check it out.
I know its not a fancy bow, but I'm impressed with it so far, it was cheap to get into, and I was able to throw 4 arrows within a palm sized area at 25 yards after not shooting for 17-18 years or so. Few weeks and I'll get back in the hang of things

Im going to have to go back. I liked it as Sportsmans Warehouse. I think it went down hill after the change. Look forward to checking it out

Ya syoungs public up top with hay bales from 10 to 50 or 60 yds. The lower portion is public on Sundays. I have only been on the lower once and I really liked it for what we have here in the tri cities. Good grouping you'll be set for late season if u go. I think I may sneak out there in the morning to fling a couple need to start shooting I have a swakane doe tag coming up.

That's what happens when clothes are made out of the US. How big do you think an XL is in China? :chuckle:
