At the Oct 5th tourney at Skookum, it was pointed out to me that I had a hair line crack in the upper limb of my Z7 near the limb bolt. 3 yrs old with a zillion arrows thru it but never a dry fire nor a bad nock shot. Just one of those things I guess.
I took it to Sportco(closest authorized Mathews dealer)for the warranty work etc.
I also asked if the 70lb limbs could be exchanged at this time for 60lb limbs as my tore up construction worker shoulders aren't getting any younger, LOL.
This was approved and Mathews got Sportco new limbs in short order. Sportco swapped them out immediately upon receipt of them and I just finished fine tuning my "new" bow.
A split nock during final broadhead tuning means I'm ready for late archery elk. Switched from Axis 300's to 340's. Lost a tiny bit of speed but all in all I'm happy with the outcome.
Thanx again to the above companies for handling a warranty issue as smooth as silk.

Good for you
Never had any good come out Sportco's archery Dept, so its good to hear something good to be done there.

I think Mathews is one of the only companies that still makes parts for every bow they've ever made. Good customer service.

It was recommended to me to ask for Conner in the archery dept. Nice guy and did a good job with my baby. Prompt and professional.

Andy is the man down at Sportco with bows. He set up my Mathews as well and paper tuned perfect with the first 3 arrows. I highly recommend him

Don't know Coner but have heard great things about him from quite a few guys now. Andy I've known for a while back in his outdoor emporium days. With those 2 guys working behind the counter its hard to go anywhere else for any work needed to your bow.
