Title: Coming Up Empty
Post by: RavensdaleYoungBuck on October 30, 2013, 08:11:58 PM
So I've went hunting four times this season in the cascade foothills in 454. I have seen a million prints, followed game trails, and followed tracks, but I still haven't seen anything yet. Not even a doe. Anyone got any advice? I know this is my first year and I'm not likely to see much, but any ideas on best time to be out and weather conditions? Anything helps, thanks guys.

When all the hunters go home for lunch, get out and get it done. Go slow keep your head up and glass. I noticed they move around while the others are eating lunch. I will be up in 654 (not where you are) during late season to try to make it happen.
