An older adjustable 700 trigger or a Timney will work great.

I like the Timney I had installed in my Weatherby Vanguard. It was only $120.

With your budget you could get a Jewel trigger, but a Timney or a Rifle basics should work just fine. Have you adjusted or had a gunsmith adjust the existing trigger?

I've sure had good luck with the Timney's. Worth every penny in my opinion and they've been easy to instal, even on a Browning A bolt where it was just a spring.

Timney is my choice.
