heading over to the little belts the last two weeks of November to look for elk. was hoping to get a little advice. first time elk hunting Montana.
-
lost of people lots of quads, look for large areas of non roaded areas and there will be elk.
took this bull 3 years ago in the little belts (archery)

Good Gawd that is a pig of a 5PT. Sorry for threadjacking. :chuckle:

Which side of the Little Belts are you interested in?
-
I was leaning towards the southeast side, but nothing set in stone yet.

Lots of people, get into areas that have no trails or motorized access and you will find elk. Not a huge mountain range, but has alot of elk.

I have hunted it several times and had great success. There are plenty of elk, just get away from the road.
