Biggest one so far this year.
-
This was him last year.
-
Small rack but a fully mature buck.
-
With that short nose and sway back, it almost looks like that is an old buck that has digressed. If that is the case I wonder how big he was in his prime.
If I am wrong, it will be interesting to see him in a couple years.
Nice Deer
-
Another mature buck with a smaller rack.. I have watched this buck the past three season. His rack is virtually the same every year.
-
Awsome bucks  Good luck late season

I was thinking he looked like and old warrior on the downhill side too.
My goal is to take the oldest buck I can next year. Regardless of antlers.
-
this is always my favorite thread of the year, Nothing like washington whitetail.
-
:yeah:
I'm more of a muley than WT guy, but the studs you put up every year are incredible.
-
Always a great thread, good bucks already. Monsters will show up eventually
-
Thanks guys. Hopefully I will have some other good ones to post over the next month or so.
-
I can't decide if that first buck is bigger this year or last...
What do you think?
-
I've been waiting DB.... :chuckle:

I think he lost a little width... Gross tine length is probably a wash
-
DB, that buck in the top pic has a monster body on him, are the whitetails out that direction all big bodied like that
-
These matuture mountain bucks definitely have big bodies...almost always well over 200 lbs and sometimes pushing close to 300.
-
sweet jesus man, the biggest bodied blacktail i ever killed hit 200 with the guts out, but the hide and head was still on. i guess a guy has to cut them in half if he kills a whitetail like those in your pics.... awesome photos. i have often thought about putn down the rifle and getting a camera. i have seen some blackies in my time that i would like to have pics of..

Most of the mature ones I have weighed go 180-230 (usually over 200 on a 5.5-6.5 year old) on the hoof and I saw one (not mine) that went 280
-
Biggest bodied whitetails I have ever hunted are in the mountains...2 of the shooters I am after this year are well over 200
-
Here is a buck I killed in 2010 and is buy far the biggest body whitetail I have killed or seen.
-
Uncle Buck 2013... He lost some size this year...getting old.
-
This was Uncle Buck in 2012

Last trail cam photo of Uncle Buck. Approximately 7 hours later he made his mistake.
-
Daylight Photos of Waldo. Thanksgiving week can't arrive fast enough for my wife. She is hoping to get an arrow into this buck.
-
Man what a "Poser"
-
Good luck! Need to have both on the wall. Can't wait for Monday to roll around.
I'm sitting at work dreaming of sitting in a tree stand.
