Title: Hunters ed field test
Post by: Coreym8565 on November 04, 2013, 02:38:16 PM
Just curious if anyone out there knows a way around the field test. My brother needs to do it last minute but all the classes are full. I've had my certs since I was eleven so Ive never encountered this issue. Is there a way to avoid the class and maybe have someone do it privately? If not then he will have to be my spotter

Don't they have a one year apprentice hunter type deferrment?  You might look into that.

Looked it up, here's the link:

http://wdfw.wa.gov/hunting/huntered/he_deferral.html (http://wdfw.wa.gov/hunting/huntered/he_deferral.html)

Looks like it still might take two weeks so unless archery or ML, you still might be out of luck.

Ahh didn't see that part. Well it's his only option for a tag. Thanx for the help.
