Title: Bead Lake/What Gives USDA
Post by: Florida_Native on November 05, 2013, 06:35:44 PM: So I just found out about Burbot and after an unsuccessful hunting season I was excited to get out on the water and try my luck. After repairing the lights on my boat, buying bait, and driving an 1.5 hours I arrived at the lake. Upon arrival my hopes were quickly dashed seeing that the gate to the boat launch was locked. Needless to say I had a pleasant ride home :bash:

Anyone know what is up? I know the lake is open year round, so I'm not sure why the gate was locked.

Post by: Ridgeratt on November 05, 2013, 06:47:12 PM: I know they were putting in a public launch a few years ago I have heard it is a steep ramp and if there was any snow just might be impossible to get out of. We used to get on the lake were the semi resort was now I think thats a private access. Wait until you get hard water and then go.
