Title: Knight Bighorn
Post by: Jburke on November 06, 2013, 10:40:19 AM: I decided that I wanted a new Muzzle loader for next year so I went ahead and sold the old and just bought a Knight Bighorn off Gunauction.com. I was hoping to find a thumbhole stock but that can always be changed later. I have heard nothing but good about Knight's so I'm excited to get it and put some rounds through it.

I actually have a rear peep lying around already that I was considering putting on it. I don't remember what it had came off previously though.

I would suggest a Williams FP peep sight - I also use a Williams ramp, front fiber optic, and a Fire Sight Hood. With all of this it kinda makes you think you are looking thru a 1X power scope

I believe they all are - because you are using the hole designed for a scope base...

This is another example of a peep installed on a scope base of my Knight Ultra-Lite

I have the same setup as sabotloader except my front sight is green instead of red.

Post by: Jburke on November 19, 2013, 01:03:32 AM: Got my bighorn today. Won't get a chance to shoot it for awhile with the holidays and other things coming up. But I should have enough time to at least dig out my peep sight and put it on. Looking forward to next year already!

Post by: Wose on November 19, 2013, 05:06:41 PM: I ordered that peep sight from Numrich and my Bighorn went from being a tool I liked to being one I really loved. If it was the only hunting tool I owned, I wouldn't feel handicapped.
