3x4. Shot from 10feet. I had seen this buck earlier in the morning and jumped him. No shot. The buck ran into an alder thicket. A few hours later, my buddie decides he's going to try find this buck in the thicket. (Assuming he's still there). I'm sitting against a tree half asleep when I hear a branch break to my right. Heres the buck standing just a few feet away looking right at me. I wait and he doesnt get alarmed and trots a few feet and turns around to check me out again. KABOOM! I think I missed where did he go. Wait there he is. 1 shot throught the neck from approximately 10 feet. Huge neck. Biggest buck ever for me. Can't wait to get the head back, I'm having a shoulder mount done.

Nice buck! I'm convinced that I'm about 15 - give or take a few - years overdue for this kind of luck. Nice job!
