Title: Moses Lake Area Goose Hunting
Post by: EWUEAGLESHUNTER on November 07, 2013, 08:59:05 PM
Looking to go out this weekend decoying for geese on land and do not have anytime to scout. What are the geese hitting on right now? Alfalfa, corn? Normally it seems like the geese hit up the alfalfa while it is still green first but with the majority of the corn harvested already just thought I would see if anyone knew anything.

Headed out on first goose hunt of the season, ended up with 2 ducks and no geese. Saw lots of geese flying between 8 and 10 a.m but could not get anything to even take a pass at me. A lot of the flocks were really high up and I did not get any response from them.

Good looking dog. I set out 38 full body decoys, I whish my hunt for geese was as easy as yours. Did you get those out of one of the waterways/canals?

goose hunting = tons of scouting to be successful on a regular basis. so no time for scouting just plan on wasting your time with trying to blindly hunt.
