Title: Blacktails and other critters
Post by: bobcat on November 09, 2013, 10:10:20 PM
These aren't the greatest pictures but I got a good variety. Deer, raccoons, porcupines, coyotes. The last buck I think is a better buck than the little 2 point that's been hanging around. But it's kind of hard to tell in the picture.

Very cool pics.   Is that a porcupine in the 19: hour photo?

Yes it is. I get lots of porcupine pictures at this spot. I guess they like apples as much as the deer do.

I'm thinking about getting the Truth Cam 35. How close is your bait pile to the camera? These are pretty good pictures which i think solidifies my decision.

It's about 30 feet. I'm pretty happy with it for the price. I paid $60. It's actually one of the better cameras I have for use on trails without bait. It's got a fast trigger and doesn't miss much. I also like that it can be locked up with a Python cable- no box needed as it has a hole in the case for the cable. I wouldn't pay more than about $80 for one though. You get up into the $80 to $100 price range and there are some better options available.
