I live in Moses., and wanted to know can you hunt it,  and are their blinds, better for boat hunting? Don't need anyone's honey hole, don't want to try and figure out WDFW horrible website, just opinions.  Thanks for any helpful advice.

Yes, you can hunt it.  The water level drops in the winter, so you can end up with mud flats like Moses.  There are birds there.  Give it a try.

Good hunting at times. Water levels drop drastically as previously stated. Also, lots of rocks to ruin a lower unit so be careful and go slow.

I live in Moses too.  I haven't hunted it even though I heard it can be good.  I've also heard that its not a place to run your boat in the dark unless you absolutely know where you are going.  And alwsys bring a spare prop.

yeah its not bad early on but water level drops so much its hard to boat hunt there and thats the best way to get around scootney . it is still possible though . there are some walk in spots and a pond right by the main entrance that i have seen geese on before.

I was at scootney today.  The water was looooow.  Bagged a pair of mallards.  Birds are around but didn't cooperate to well.  Tomorrow is a goose day.  Might try it again.
