Title: Spring Turkey - Snow in April around the Colockum Area
Post by: snoco on November 15, 2013, 07:16:32 PM: Hey guys,

I was wondering if anyone can tell me if there is a lot of snow still on the ground around the Colockum Wildlife Area in April for the Spring hunt. Kind of scoping out areas and I can't seem to find any information on-line in regards to the snow line. Any information will be greatly appreciated.

A few years ago we didn't even go on our first hunt until may due to snowpack in central wa. The cameras along I-90 are a good help for me since our spot isn't that high in altitude anymore since we don't hunt Chewelah anymore.
