Hey guys,
I was wondering if anyone can tell me if there is a lot of snow still on the ground around the Colockum Wildlife Area in April for the Spring hunt. Kind of scoping out areas and I can't seem to find any information on-line in regards to the snow line. Any information will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in Advance.

that kind of depends on the year and if there is a heavy and/or late snow.

The way I plan my season is I watch the snowpack the closer it gets to April. A few years ago we didn't even go on our first hunt until may due to snowpack in central wa. The cameras along I-90 are a good help for me since our spot isn't that high in altitude anymore since we don't hunt Chewelah anymore.

There is no snow hardly at all up there. The only problem I guy would have is the dark canyons other than that I bet you could drive it pretty easy right now

Yes last year there was quite a bit when i was there... it can get pretty heavy.... but the turkeys kind of stand out... when see them b/c they are big and brown against this white back round
