Title: Blacktail buck
Post by: bobcat on November 16, 2013, 09:56:13 PM
I pulled three cameras today and got a picture of one decent buck, at least I thought it was decent until I see all the nice blacktails people are posting up today. But for my area this is a pretty good one. Looks like just a 2 point but pretty heavy.

I had put out some doe in heat urine at this spot so I think that's what got his attention. Got lots of pictures of does at this spot as well, and one tiny little spike. Oh and a few coyote pics.

I'll add a few more here. I just noticed it appears that a coyote was chasing or at least following a doe. The first picture you'll see the doe is alert and then next picture you just see a blur right in front of the camera, which I assume is the doe running. Next picture just a minute or two later is a coyote, and then another pic of the coyote as it stops to smell the doe urine I had put out.
