Title: Waterproofing

I let my wife wash my duck hunting jacket shell one too many times and it is no longer waterproof.  Have any of you used this:

Is there something better to get it waterproof again or should I just use this as an excuse to buy the Sitka Optifade Marsh Wader Jacket that I have been eying?
