I have had this gun since 2004 and have over 10,000 rounds through this gun and had issues with light primer strikes the last time I was out hunting. I think it possibly could have been gunk built up around the firing pin but have decided to replace the firing pin and the spring that controls the firing pin being struck.
I think the spring is number 26 in the schematic

Make sure you take the bolt completely apart as well and clean it really well. Yes 26 is the spring for the hammer. 23 is the firing pin spring.

Also, make sure everything is super clean so that the bolt is going fully forward.

I took the firing pin out and cleaned it thoroughly, I will take a brass brush to the inside of the bolt tommorow

Clean the chamber really good too, make sure there is no gunk around the edge where the shell seats.
