I had a close encounter of the Bald Eagle kind yesterday on Samish Island! :) This magnificent bird let me walk right up to the base of the power pole he was on and then he let me stand there and take his portraits for about 15 minutes. :)
After I got a chance to review the photos I took of him I noticed his eye was different. :) I'm not sure if there is something wrong with it, or if that is his eyelid. Maybe someone here can tell us. :)
