Yeah those short back tines didn't help the score any that's for sure. I had him scored in Puyallup and it was just over 162. I guess a lot of guys wouldn't have shot him because of the weak backs, but he was good enough for me.

The Bear's Den. I dropped it off there about November 10th, and had it back a couple days before christmas.

I think that the Bear's Den farms out all of their european mounts and a lot of their smaller game and bird mounts. I could be wrong but that is what I have heard. A lot of the better taxidermists dont have time to mess with the little stuff and The Bear's Den is probably one of them.

I didn't either! Only problem is it still smelled for a while, it had that "chemical" smell, from the tanning process I guess. But it was nice not having to wait a year, or more, to get it back, like I hear is the case with many taxidermists.
