Title: Late Archery Blacktail buck Harvest
Post by: Warberg on December 03, 2013, 08:37:39 AM: My first Blacktail buck, I used a 1960s Whiffen Comet recurve 53#@28 58". St Charles custom arrows tipped with 1964 bear razorhead. I have been after a buck for so long. I couldnt be happier.
This was a few days ago and very honored to have my kids help with recovery.. Be safe and Happy Holidays.

:yeah: I was going to say great job on the buck and made even better by getting the kids involved in the hunt. I think it is awesome you were able to make it all happen :tup:.

I have a bunch old Bear Razorheads and in their day, they were THE broadhead of choice. Any razor sharp head on a well-placed arrow will do the trick! :tup:

I did go by a mega ticket (didnt win), but the money would run out before the memories ever will. This buck came right on top of me. In fact he nearly kicked my upper limb upon a hasty retreat.
