I usually hunt over on the Eastside near Moses Lake/Othello and have never hunted the Monroe/Snohomish area. Anyone know of any decent public hunting areas that you don't need a boat to access?

Crescent lake out of monroe hunt the fields or walk all th way back to the slough cam be very productive at times or thwres some pud property out of snohomish.

I just checked out Crescent Lake and it was frozen over, are there any public fields? I saw a lot of ducks landing in the fields.

Some of the fields around Crescent are part of the hunting area and the hunting in them can be good when it is cold and/or snowy....

Lake is frozen not the slough you walk all the way to the back.as for public feilds you could try out toward duvaull or there's property off fobes hill in snohomish go behind bickford and follow the road down to the parking..

Crescent is a pheasant release site. Look at the map on the wdfw web page. Several fields are public.
