Title: First blacktail buck
Post by: Irish_hunter93 on December 06, 2013, 12:03:53 PM: Finally shot my first blacktail buck! Went the season prior to this completely empty handed and it feels great to finally take one! Got nice and close with a 30 yard shot with my 30-06 and dropped him on the spot and Even recovered the bullet outta him. Can't wait for next year! Shoutout to my buddy tony for the help with the euro mount!

I'm from there. West Branch which is a small town in the lower peninsula about an hour and a half south of the bridge. So you married a Yooper eh? :chuckle:

Haha sure did. Second the "I'd move there if I could find work" comment. Make it a priority to be there every Christmas...for late archery :IBCOOL:

30-06 180 grain federal powershock + dead on throat shot = recovered bullet :bfg:
