Title: Dales Steak Sauce
Post by: Florida_Native on December 11, 2013, 09:28:44 PM
Down in the south we have a thing called dales steak sauce. Since I've been in Washington I haven't been able to find any. Just curious if anyone has seen any in the stores around Spokane.

I've been able to find Zapps chips by looking around so its worth a shot!

It's awesome!  Just don't leave your meat in it more than 15 minutes or it'll be pretty salty.

I've got a bottle at home that I bought from a Wal Mart in Eastern Washington.  Too salty for my likings.  A lot of soy flavor in my opinion.

You mean his stuff.

My wife went to Florida and bought some home, great marinade, plus added some to burgers tonight .

Well, I tried it again last night, and I seemed to like it better.  Maybe the three years in the fridge aging was the key.l :chuckle:

We've looked at Walmart. Gotta check again.

The key is don't leave the meat in more than 15 minutes or it'll be a salt lick

I marinated steaks today with it with a small amount ( just enough to cover lightly) and left I on for hours then cooked. Yum yum.

We'll I'm glad you enjoyed it. When in hunted doves, we used to marinade them in it as we'll and wrap them in bacon!

Might be good; my buddy from Montana formally a Florida boy makes the best sauce and rubs I have feasted on. I do want to try Kc_Kracker's sauce, just because he is a member here and trying to start a small business adventure.  :twocents:
