There is a young female German Shorthair at the Skagit Humane Society. She is papered and they know her history. The original owner brought her in because she chases cats. They say she loves to retrieve. She might make someone a good hunting buddy. She looks good in the video that is on Facebook for those that are on Facebook. The bottom link is the Facebook video.

Lucky for her her owner gave her up. I've never owned a dog that wouldn't chase cats. I did have a cat years ago that taught my two worse cat haters religion. Got to the point where the cat went into the dog house with them and slept on the dogs! Wish I had room.

Someone should call the breeder since there is a pedigree. They should take her back if they are a decent breeder and not a backyard brother

Anyone who chases this dog remember...keep the hunting aspect out of the adoption conversation.
"Looking for an active dog for the family" is a good way to start and end the conversation when choosing a hunting breed at a shelter. I've been refused adoption because I screwed up and said I might hunt with the dog.
