I have a bobcat skull skull that I want to finish. Its a little "dark". What's the best method to "bleach" tge skull? Bleach, peroxide, boil, etc. Also, what is the proper adhesive to use for attaching the lower jaw to the rest of the skull? Thanks in advance
Also, is there a compound/coating I can use to clean and protect my deer bone? Thanks again

If its clean and just needs whitening I would start with a week or so of degreasing, then a few days in peroxide. As far as glue, super glue has always worked well for me, just let it dry after pulling it out of the peroxide before glueing...

35% works perfectly - and quickly. Just follow the precautions as it's highly caustic.

I like to wire mine so that the jaw can be opened and closed.

Thats a thought. I was thinking about machining a stand for it. Adding the "hinge" feature may be cool and add to its charm (does a cat skull on a book shelf have charm?). Im using normal 3% peroxide now. Maybe design the stand over the holidays. Mahine and assemble after the first of the year.
