Anyone know who has the best price in Washington for a tikka t3 stainless in 300 win mag, I tired to go local ( west coast armory) but they want $700, cabelas has it for $679
Anyone have a better price?
-
$679, that sounds like about the best price I've seen for the stainless.

I think 680.00 is pretty standard for the stainless magnums. Sportsmans warehouse is were I buy most of our tikka's. I have got a couple at gun shows for a little cheaper wheeling and dealing. Sportsmans also has a exclusive model that is stainless and fluted.
-
What's the difference between the fluted barrel and standard? Any advantage?
Just called the sportsman in pullayup, $625 but it doesn't have a fluted barrel.
-
$625 for stainless lite non-fluted?
You best get on buying that!!!
-
Sportsmans was much cheaper than cabelas my my Lh model.
-
I called both sportsmans close to me, they have it in stock and it's there every day price, I will be purchasing next week!
-
Not much difference the fluted will be a little quicker to cool the barrel and I think they are pretty dang close in weight. It's a special model they do just for sportsmans. The Portland warehouse has them in stock most of the time. If you just asked for a stainless tikka I think they are 630.00 but the magnum guns I think are +50.00.
-
I might have to just go down there and see, I asked for the 300 win mag price and if it was in stock but you never know on the phone. :dunno:

Big R in Colville was running a Clearance on them and Savages they had a 223 for under 400 bucks!! I heard an ad today that says any clearance plus 33% off. That is a hard rock to pass I may just have to go look!!
-
Wish I would have bought a couple of them a4 or 5 years ago. Had a gun buddy who could get them for 479.00
-
I bought my Tikka T3 at GrabaGun.com.

Why buy new? The second you walk out the door, your new tikka will be the same price as the one on here. I would pick up the used one, shoot it, if it doesn't shoot to your liking, sell it for what you paid for it. Every Tikka I have gotten behind shoots lights out.
No tax no papers and has all the extras.
Add $30 for the limbsaver pad
Add $40 for the rings
Add $40 in tax
Sounds perfect to me :dunno:

Got my T3 lite stainless in 270 WSM from a member here - with reloading dies, some factory ammo and a bunch of brass for $550, if I recall correctly. Didnt take long before I was printing 3/4" groups with factory ammo. My point is, the first time you shoot a new gun it is "used" - might not want to overlook a good deal on a well-cared for gun with lots of extras...
Just my :twocents:
*didnt see the above post before I posted... so :yeah:
-
I sold skillet his 270 wsm Ill through in a set of dies and some brass for $625.00 if you drive up here
-
There is a tika t3 blued 30:06 at Big R in Colville on closeout for under $400!

Up until this year I never purchased a new rifle,My first rifle 27 years ago was a Savage from 1966,a garage sale special my grandpa bought and then sold to me for 300 bucks,We took it out and shot his handloads out of it,covered 3 shots with a dime,20 years ago I bought a winchester model 70 from 1971 in .243 from a guy here locally, who had bought it used and hacked the stock off to fit his 4 foot 8 wife,it has a medium weight barrel and at 8 pounds was to heavy for her to pack,it also shoots a 1/2 inch group.Last year I bought a Ruger M77 from a board member here,it was his grandfathers gun and he told me he could only get a 3 inch group out of it at 100 with handloads,I cleaned the bejeezuz out of it,a whole lot of copper goin on,removed it from the stock, put it back together being ever so mindful of screw tension, threw a scope on it,bought 2 boxes of Remmy corelokt 130's and got a ragged hole,I also bought a used Savage predator gun from Huntboy on here and it's a hole making machine.I guess the jist of it is I bought 3 rifles that were over 20 years old that there was not a dang thing wrong with. The only brand new rifle I ever bought was this year and it shoots not one bit better than the others,.204 ruger Savage Predator hunter.
