Who plans on buying a new firearm this year? I would love to buy a 50 cal muzzle loader. Or maybe a single action muzzle loader pistol.
-
Couple new handguns will be added.. maybe sneak in an ar15 if the wife will let me....yea right..
-
I would like to pick up a couple AR-15 rifles and a FNH FNS-9 pistol, and I would like to start building a .338 edge but it might take me a couple years to complete.
-
I'm investing in lead. Silver is overated
-
A Ruger Super Black Hawk Bisley Hunter .44 Mag and a safe.
-
Hoping to pick up a remington 700 .300 win mag, maybe a smith and wesson m&p .40
-

I've been saying for a long time to invest in precious metals, lead & brass.
-
:yeah:
-
hopefully a new bow, maybe an LCP depends on how much I spend on a new bow
-
I'm hoping to just find some reloading supplies. If that happens, then I might start thinking about a conceal carry piece.

:yeah:
Looked yesterday for powder and nothing that I could use. SIG may be my next conceal carry.
-
:yeah:
-
I'd still like to get a really nice doublebarrel to hunt birds with. Especially now that my daughter is going to be hunting with me. I have to survive paying off Christmas first
-
I should have my CPL about the first of February and then I'm going to get my first pistol, an SR40.
-

What components are you guys looking for? I've had pretty good luck finding powder and primers, it just takes some digging. I even bought a 8 pounds of Varget a while back. I ended up passing 6 pounds along to other guys though.
I don't like to plan my purchases, the impulse buys are always the most fun. :chuckle: I wouldn't mind finding a good deal on a 416 Rigby though.

-
I'm looking for H1000, CFE 223, Nosler Long Range Accubonds (30 cal)..............and some other items that I'm not remembering right now.
Anybody know if Cabelas is open today? I might have to swing in there today to see what they have in stock.
-
Cabelas is not open today
I'm going to buy an ar this year or start buying the pieces to put one together
-

:chuckle: you better get it while you can, the last lead producing smelter in the US is shut down as of Dec 31 by Obama's EPA.

I see some reloading components here and there in my travels, if someone can pick it up in Colville or wants to pau=y the shipping I don't mind getting something for anyone.
All the online stores have a little of this and that, you just have to research to find what you need.
-
My goal is to make lots of money :chuckle: buy the biggest safe they sell ...and fill it full :chuckle: :chuckle: I dream of this anyway ! I never cared about an AR 15 But I may need one of those too !!!
-
50 BMG....
-
One things for sure, we get to see a bunch of new stuff that's show cases at the "Shot Show". That never makes it to market or remotely comes to be.
-
I've got a few I want to add to my quiver. A Colt SAA 45LC, a higher end over and under shotgun and for some reason I seem to think I want a FN five seven and I would probably never turn down a good deal on a 1911 or Sig.
I've got a hankerin' to build another custom rifle but I'm not sure what it should be.
Almost forgot, I need to buy a 22Mag rifle of some sort to go along with the healthy supply of 22mags I have but I'm not sure if I want another Savage 93 like my 17hmr or if I should get a CZ, Marlin, or what. Thoughts on a good 22mag rifle are welcomed.
-
Hopefully the endless supply of backordered powder and bullets I have on order. Couple of new wildcats coming online, 2 cnc machines to build more stuff, maybe a lw rifle. New optics after shot show
-
50 BMG....
For longer range two point hunting! :yike:
Sorry couldn't resist. :chuckle:
-
Travis, do you have some new wildcats coming and if so, what are they????
-
There will be some neat stuff unveiled at SHoT this year, so dont make all your buying decisions yet guys! :chuckle: :chuckle:

I have an Rbros rifle ordered and can pretty much guarantee I'll find something at SHOT that I can't live without. :)
-
I ordered a stock from Boyds for a custom 10-22 I'm going to build. Ordered it last year, but it won't come until this year. I don't have the rest of the parts yet. I was going to find a donor Ruger 10-22 but got to thinking that by the time it's done, there won't be much Ruger left, so I might as well go with trick parts all the way. Like I need another gun!!! :chuckle: :dunno: :chuckle:

I like the Marlin rimfire rifles, I have an older Marlin 882 - 22 magnum bolt-action mag fed with a 3x9 redfield scope.Blued barrel & wood stock.
I bought a Marlin XT17V last spring at Cabelas, 17HMR stainless bull barrel & laminated stock. I had a 6X18 power scope in the cabinet that I put on this rifle. I need to switch it out with a lower power scope when I have a extra $200 or so to buy a new one.
I never really like the Savage brand of firearms. How ever I did buy a old Savage 410 tub-fed bolt action from Cabelas acouple of months ago for $69. I have about eight, maybe ten old 410 shotguns. If I see any 410 for a$100 or less I buy them if they are in decent shape, Same with older 22 rimfire rifles.
My 2014 gun purchases will be:
a Sig Sauer Mosquito 22 semi-auto
a Ruger SP101 - 357 Mag with a 3" barrel
a 12 gauge over/under shotgun
a Ruger Alaskan 44mag (used)
a Ruger or Remington Stainless Steel Old Army or Old Navy Black Powder revolver (used)
Rifle Reloading Equipment
Barrels for my T/C Contender, 30-30, 222 Rem, 223, 35 Rem, 357 Mag, 44 Mag, 7mm08.
Ammo for every caliber I have in my collection and reloading dies for them as well.
22 ammo when ever I see any!
-
Cabelas is open today, they opened at 9am. Thier phione number is 360-474-4880 Marysville Store. You should call before going there, they might be closeing early.
-
I just remembered that I wanted to buy a GP100 to have Dave Clements convert it to 10mm. The down side is the 2 year wait! :bash:

A friend of mine saw a new Ruger American in 22 Magnum and bought it, and told them if they got in a 22 LR in the same gun to call him. A few days later they got a 22 Rimfire Ruger American in, and he bought it. They haven't been able to get any more rimfires after those. The guy that bought them is a benchrest shooter, so he's pretty picky about the guns he buys. If you see one in 22 Magnum, buy it! evidently they are rare and hard to get.
-
:yeah: I've looked quite a bit and found nothing.
-
Cabelas in Yakima had both in when I was there a couple days ago. I bought a 22 mag American in September when they first came out. I like it alright but it isn't a 1/10th of the gun my 77/22 mag is.

weatherby mark v in 257 weatherby stainless and synthetic

Yep I know, my pass is in my hand and my vacation was cancelled so I don't get to go this year. I hate my job or I should say my new senior managers.

I'll be buying whatever good pieces with good prices I see posted in the huntwa classifieds.

a FNH FNS-9 pistol
I love my FNH pistols. I have an FNX-9, an FNP-40, and an FNX-45. I had the Striker-fired XD-40 and XD-45 pistols, but once I got the FNX-9, I sold the XD's and got FN's. Being old school, I like a hammer on my pistols, and think FNH came out with the striker-fired FNS series to keep up with the times. :twocents:

If you get one, be sure to give us a report. I have 2 Benjamin Marauders and like the PCP's. I think the Airforce guns use the other type fill connector, so I stuck with Benjamins. They are great guns, and super accurate. Dozens of dead Starlings and Eurasian Doves can't be wrong! :chuckle:

Travis, do you have some new wildcats coming and if so, what are they????
A 30cal and a 6.5. Also applied my throat design to a 264WM and have brought new life to the old girl. 160's at 3150, 140's at 3289 and really good case life. Now to see how long the barrel last.
-
What parent case/s will your .30 & 6.5 wildcats use?????
-
I'm investing in lead. Silver is overated
:chuckle: you better get it while you can, the last lead producing smelter in the US is shut down as of Dec 31 by Obama's EPA.
That smelter does not produce lead for bullets. Check it on snopes. Does not affect the bullet market.

-
I'm not really looking for anything right now but I won't rule out buying any new firearms.
This year I plan on spending more money on gun projects rather than buying new guns. I'll be adding more reloading equipment and components also.
