While you're out hunting those geese and ducks, don't forget that as of today, crow season is done.
-
Whenever I see crows they're in the act of depredation. ;)

As tempting a target as they are, my mother loved crows so much, I can't bring myself to shoot them. But that doesn't mean that others can't!

Good info.
I wonder when the peak nesting period is in Washington and if we could get the season shifted from Sept/Dec to Nov/Feb?

Crow hunting is a blast ...If I would have had a shotgun and one other person with me we could of seriously killed some crows ...The trick is to cripple one and let one guy call as loud as possible so they can not hear the shots going off ...once there is hundreds around you screaming mad they do not pay attention to the gun fire ...as you keep shooting them they continue to come and get more aggressive ...just can not let them see you ...bring lots of shells :chuckle:

Right off my garbage can if the lids not on. Within 15 minutes they're scattering the garbage all over the place. Those black goats with wings are everywhere. I think of them like coyotes and rats. If there's a food source around, they'll be there.
