Any idea what this rifle is worth. It has a Weatherby scope. It was built in 1984, never fired
-
Unfired - In excess of $10k.
-
Please tell me you didn't buy at a garage sale for $20. :chuckle:
-
It is .270 not .300

:yeah:
How did you get a hold of that beauty?
-
Wow. I'd be terrified to hold it. There's a reason I don't own any wood stocked rifles.
-
I was thinking of my other rifle ,, It is a 270 Weatherby Magnum.. Traded for a scope. Not a mark on it

did you trade Dennis for it?
-
I would say you could get 4-5k pretty quick and maybe 8-9k if you hold out for awhile.
-
If it's all 100% Weatherby, I'd contact Weatherby and see what they'll give you for it. Looks like a museum piece.
-
that's a piece of art !

I have a couple like that. Contact rockislandauctions for a fair appraisal. Free but takes a few days. They will sell for you for a cut.
-
I'd take it to Cabela's Gun Library just to watch them drool. They wouldn't give you anything close to what it's worth but it would be fun to see the reactions! Beautiful gun.
