I think it would be interesting to test this on my g20 10mm

A Trijicon RMR will get you there with less bulk. ;)

Does it help with hitting targets at longer distances?

Having shot open sights on a handgun my who life other than scoped revolvers. It's completely different and takes some getting used to. Yes, if your steady you can make hits a distance.

A Trijicon RMR will get you there with less bulk. ;)

I don't know about having the sight attached to the slide though. I hate the idea of my optic not being locked into place. That's the biggest advantage of the other style mount, consistency.

Never put much thought into it, makes sense. Those RMR's are tough. :o
