Peerless double side x side 20 ga
Just picked it up at a local gun show. It's in pretty decent shape. But I didn't know what I was doing when I bought it but it looked good and I had the cash!!
Not sure of the chokes. It was listed as mod/imp. My caliper is broken so I can't measure the bore.
Which is usually the left barrel. I'm gonna Try to shoot it in the next few days. That would be the next question. Are modern 20 shells safe??? It is likely made 1920 internal hammer everything fits tight. A bit nervous. Help me out

Oops just looked at the sales ticket. It was mod/full. Is that mod on the left barrel full on right?

I'd shoot the low base shells, Like the Dove & Quail loads or trap loads. I wouldn't even think about shooting the high base shells in a gun this old. Buckshot & rifled deer slugs would probably split the barrels. Some of them old guns have the Damascus Twist Barrels, they are not that safe with the new ammo we have today.
Low base shells you should be OK.
It you decide you want to sellit I'd be interested in it. I had one frobably about 40 years ago and use to shoot grouse & rabbits with the one I had.

Mod should be on the right side (front trigger)
Full should be on the left side (back trigger)
