Post by: rosscrazyelk on January 14, 2014, 05:22:14 PM: Just got back from a Trip with the wife not a hunting trip mind you but thought you might like to see how the bous in Louisiana build there duck blinds.
They build some you can sleep in but most build a float that you just park your boat in..
Oh and they leave there deeks out all season

Was fun but it felt weird to hunt in a sweat shirt in Jan.
I also had some sort of misconception that gators hibernated in winter, which is totally untrue.

I'll deal with the cold E. WA weather and they can keep the gators.
