Title: Problem with Crimson Trace not coming on Immediately - Update/Resolved

I haven't used this Ruger LCP9 very much and can't imagine this is a problem with the battery. I cleaned off the laser, so that's not the problem. When I pick up the gun after sitting for more than a few hours, the laser doesn't come on right away. Anyone have experience with this?

I didn't know that. Thanks. I don't think it's a battery issue, but it may be. If I hold it down for a while, it comes on light and then increases in intensity gradually. Very strange, Just started a few days ago.

That sure does sound like a battery issue Pman, you wouldn't think a contact issue would react with intensity variance, typically contacts are connected or not.

Could be the laser itself as well. :dunno:

I have a CT Laser on my Kahr P40, and it comes on every time I test it. And the batteries are at least 4 years old! :tup:

It wasn't a battery issue, but they're not sure what it is, so they replaced it. Great response and great service. I'm going to put one on my XD .45 when I can afford it.
