Post by: Head-shot on November 13, 2008, 10:41:44 PM: Is that just a hide for bait? Very cool bird, used to see lots of them in S. Dakota on the gut piles during deer and antelope seasons.

I have seen Goldens around Republic, Vulcan Mtn and Sherman pass to be specific. I have also seen them over at Banks Lake.

We watched a pair in Lincoln on Lake Roosevelt last summer. The ravens were giving them one hell of a time!
