A friend of mine in Bow is still feeding Hummers every day. He has about 30 of the little guys that frequent his feeders every day. :)

My wife loves hummingbirds. She asked me if you fed them all year, this year ?

We feed our humming birds all year round in Kirkland. If it's going to freeze at night, we take the feeder in. When we put it out in the morning, they're all over it. One time a hummer landed on the feeder and started drinking when I was still carrying it out to hang it!

According to the Seattle Audubon Society, if you feed them the rest of the year they recommend that you continue during the winter as some hummingbirds winter in Washington state.

Our hummers are awesome!
I rotate eight feeders when it gets cold enough to freeze. They are fun to just sit and watch at the golden hour before sunset.

Nice pics. One of my favorite birds. I sill have two at my place daily. Swapping out the frozen feeders is almost a full time job. Worth it though. If they stay and you give up feeding they will more then likely perish.

Campmeat yes my wife feeds them all year. Changes the food about once a week. Keep telling her we should buy stock in sugar ;)
Great pic guys

I also feed mine all year. I have 2 feeders going full time and about half a dozen little guys that drain them. I noticed last winter that I had a couple that wintered here so I decided to keep feeders out this winter to see what happened and they came out of the wood work! Very fun to watch and it feels good to know we're helping them out. Lake Arrow Head said, when you walk out on a cold morning to hang the feeder back up, they are all over you.
