Title: WDFW non-resident veteran reduced fee
Post by: B.G.hunter on January 22, 2014, 09:45:23 AM: This just came through on the WDFW's license system but apparently non-resident disabled veterans and 65 or older non-resident veterans will get regular resident prices starting February 1st. Here is a link to the form you must fill out and get approved before purchasing the license.

I'd be interested in discounted prices for our resident senior sportsmen.

Post by: Stalker on January 23, 2014, 05:00:59 PM: DFW should change their position requiring WA resident military members stationed out of state to purchase a license in order to submit an application for a "Ghost Point" in the draw system. It makes no sense to charge these kids for a license that they know will not be used so the individual may continue to accumulate points. I believe that would be effort better spent supporting our military family.. :sry:

SO what are they doing for RESIDENT vets and disabled and over 65 ?????????????

They only provide a fishing discount for over 70 residents not hunting. I think they should give all veterans a discount but at least it is a start.
