This just came through on the WDFW's license system but apparently non-resident disabled veterans and 65 or older non-resident veterans will get regular resident prices starting February 1st. Here is a link to the form you must fill out and get approved before purchasing the license.

I think this should also include Non Resident Seniors (over 65). Our retired folks can't afford these high fees on fixed incomes!
-
Any non-resident senior that can afford to travel out of state to hunt here should be able to afford standard non-resident fees.
I'd be interested in discounted prices for our resident senior sportsmen.

I am totally cool with that.

DFW should change their position requiring WA resident military members stationed out of state to purchase a license in order to submit an application for a "Ghost Point" in the draw system. It makes no sense to charge these kids for a license that they know will not be used so the individual may continue to accumulate points. I believe that would be effort better spent supporting our military family.. :sry:

SO what are they doing for RESIDENT vets and disabled and over 65 ?????????????
-
Nothing for vets unless you are disabled or have a service connected disability.

I think they do not want to provide a discount for over 65 resident on non is there are still too many in their 60's that hunt. It would be lost revenue. So...maybe they provide a discount for over 70 resident and non resident.

They only provide a fishing discount for over 70 residents not hunting. I think they should give all veterans a discount but at least it is a start.
