I had the privilege of meeting Waz and his wife yesterday when they stopped by with two knives I'd ordered. The larger, for my brother's 60th birthday and the smaller for the "little brother" so we would have matching knives. The blade on the larger one is 4 5/8" and on the smaller, 4". The spine (not sure that's the correct term) is .177" thick and they both feel great in your hand. The wood is rosewood burl and the steel is 1024 hi carbon. I won't tell you what I paid because he seriously undercharged me for them, but I will say that this will be a present for my brother that he'll never forget. Thanks Wazukie. I'm very happy with the work you did on these beautiful knives.

He probably wouldn't have minded a brother trade when I was young. Let's just say that he was a very great and tolerant big brother.
