Title: Ruger Single Six - What's it worth?
Post by: Dan-o on January 23, 2014, 08:36:04 PM: A friend who doesn't own firearms just inherited one. Looks to have about a 10" barrel. Shoots .22, including 22 Mag.

Looks to be in 95% condition. ( a little very light pitting) . Has a basic leather holster.

Any idea what a fair asking price would be? I might buy it myself, but wouldn't want to lowball a friend.

Post by: HighlandLofts on January 23, 2014, 09:44:50 PM: I'd say somewhere around $350, They are up around $500 new. Personally I wouldn't go more then $300 for stainless and $275 for blued on a used gun.
My friend just sold his with a long barrel, blued for $400. Near new condition.

If it has ANY pitting it wouldn't go over 75% condition and would only be worth $200-250

If your talking light surface "rust" that can be removed and you can get it to go 95% after its cleaned up then maybe $350
