Title: Sage Rat Hunting Idaho or Eastern Oregon
Post by: SI Eagle on February 04, 2014, 11:30:51 AM
I would like to take my son who is living in Idaho but could also take him to Eastern Oregon. Any help would be great and I don't want to spend $100 a day per gun to do it. Thanks and any information would be greatly appreciated.

There's a guide/ranch owner in Crane Oregon that takes people out shooting ground squirrels. I don't know his name, but it shouldn't be hard to find.

Back in the days the area around Blackfoot Res. close to Soda Springs had lots of gopher/picket pins/sage rats. We could shoot a carton of .22 shells a day
