Title: Burris scout scope issue
Post by: lnydam on February 07, 2014, 03:10:31 PM
New to the forum and wondering if anyone has had this problem

I have a Burris scout scope and recently took it off my M1A scout and put it on a different gun, while doing so I noticed that the rear lens is loose, when I hold it vertically with the eyepiece toward the ground, I can push up on the lens with zero effort and it will move about 1/16th of an inch up and down, also if i shake it I can hear it moving around. I was pretty surprised because it probably has been on that gun for less than 300 rounds of .308, and Burris has generally good reviews. I was just curious if anyone has had a similar issue. I understand that Burris has a "forever warranty" and was curious if anyone has dealt with that process and how their customer service is.
