I understand there is going to be a NWCO class given in Olympia on March 6th.
Interested? Contact Rolf Schriner (360)902-2490

What is the nwco class
-
Nuisance wildlife control operator

NWCO is a permit issued by WDFW, good for 5 years, that allows you to take furbearers and unprotected wldlife for hire.
You need it if you are going to trap nuisance wildlife out of season off your property and/or charge for the service.
-
But you cannot become an nwco if you've lost your rights to bear arms correct?

Have not heard anything about that. It was transfered from Enforcement to Wildlife and Rolf Schriner is the contact now. Other then that I can't tell you much. They haven't sent out anything announceing a change in policies.
