Title: 2014 Tri-City Big Eye Walleye Classic Tournament
Post by: Kanooper on February 14, 2014, 09:33:21 AM
Thought I would try and spread the word on the upcoming Walleye Tournament on the Columbia River in the Tri-Cities.  In addition to the standard "Open" division, there will also be an "Amateur" division included this year as well.  The idea behind the "Amateur" division is to hopefully get some new fisherman involved that may be intimidated by tournament fishing or may not be familiar with the body of water, etc. to come fish without dishing out the full entry fees.  I believe the "Amateur" entry fee is $100 per boat and will be rewarded with prizes instead of cash.  Tournament is being sponsored by Ranch & Home in Kennwick, Spokane Valley Marine and Ranger Boats.  Check out the attached flyer or call Ranch & Home for more info.

Warning: Tournament fishing is addictive.  If you like to fish and have a competitive bone in your body, you owe it to yourself to give it a try.

Thanks. Andy

Great post! I know nothing about fishing for walleye this time of year though. I need to buy a boat.
