I don't have what I need to get my mink fleshed and stretched right now.
I'm wondering if its OK to freeze him whole for a week or two? I've seen lots of different things on what to do and not to do and they're kinda contradicting.
As it stands right now, I dried him well with a hand towel then a blow dryer, placed him in a garbage bag, and stuck him on his back in the freezer.
Really don't want to ruin this first guy.

I've done that no bigs.
When you skin it...careful of those glands...

Where are the glands at? They useful for anything like beaver glands are?

I had one get freezer burned this year. Made him dry and harder to skin, but fur seemed OK.

Back end. Cut CLOSE to the skin if you are casing. If you nick it you will know immediately. My advice is to be in a airy place. Like outside. Once you get around the anus, tail, and legs easy breezy. Shouldn't burn if it is not in the freezer over a week or so...remember you have to let it thaw a bit before skinning.

Should be ok on a light freeze for just a few weeks then right?
